What is FETCH?
FETCH is Western Power’s web-based learning management system.

It allows you to search and enrol in training courses, access details of training you are currently enrolled in, plus see history of the training you have completed.

When you register for an online training course, you will also be able to access these courses through FETCH.

If you are a Sponsor Representative, FETCH allows you to access training information of employees who you are responsible for. This includes viewing any training they are registered in, as well as their training progress. In some cases, you will also be able to enrol your employees onto training courses.
How can I access FETCH?
You can access FETCH 24/7 via an internet connection. The system is available on many platforms (i.e. Internet Explorer 9+, Chrome, Safari, mobiles etc). As FETCH requires the use of pop-ups to launch online courses and complete some other common activities, you may need to enable pop-ups in your web browser.
Getting Started
1. Western Power Login - All Western Power staff and eligible contractors can log into FETCH using their Western Power IT login details. Click on the Western Power Login button to start.

2. Contractor Login – Contractors who do not have Western Power IT access will need a username and password to access FETCH.

You will automatically be allocated a username and password when you are first set up FETCH (this is usually initiated by your companies Sponsor Representative). These details will be sent to you via email. Click on the Contractor Login button to start.

The username is your email address and you will be given a temporary password. When accessing FETCH for the first time, you will be asked to create a new password, by clicking on the Change Password tab in the navigation menu.

3. Public Courses – if you are a student who is not Western Power staff member or contractor, then you will need to have a student account to access our public courses. If you do not have a student account, you can create one by clicking the Sign up button, or log in using your existing username and password.
Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the Forgot your password? link.

Then enter your username (your email address) and the code displayed. Once you click Enter, you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password (this can take up to 30 minutes).

Do not click on the Enter button repeatedly as this can cause delays in your password being reset.
How can I change my personal information?
You can edit your email address and contact phone numbers in your Profile tab under the My Account section. All other details have been provided by your Sponsor Representative and are not editable.
